We provide a free consultation, so simply give us a call and set up an appointment for a designer to meet you at your home. From there, we will walk the site with you and discuss any goals or specific items you may wish to incorporate. Landscape projects can take time, so establishing a trusting relationship with your designer is a must, so during this initial consultation, we encourage you to ask as many questions as you can, and simply get to know us. Once the designer has an understanding of what your particular project needs are, they will write up a design order for your review. The design order will offer a description of all the areas your particular design will encompass, as well as the cost for your design.
This is where we merge your needs and goals with our passion for design. Creative inspiration meets head on with function and reality. All of those measurements, pictures, conceptual sketches, wants and desires are built into a plan, which we feel, best fits your needs. Once the design is prepared, typically two weeks from the initial consultation, a second meeting is scheduled for the design presentation. Here we will guide you through a detailed overview plan accompanied by material samples, plant pictures and cost estimates for your review.
After the presentation, any necessary revisions are made to the drawings yielding a final plan that truly incorporates all your needs. Also at this time, with the help of your feedback from the presentation, we develop a precise proposal for your project. Let’s face it, with the design work now done, your excited to experience your new outdoor space…and you should be! That’s why we draft a planning process for you, describing a schedule of events for your project. Along with design, project management is a fundamental value we provide our customers and we clearly communicate to you what to expect and how long it will take.
This is when all of the details and planning pays off. A team of unparalleled craftsmen is assembled based on their unique skills specifically for your project. High quality installation combined with sound, industry respected techniques assure the project will meet your standards year after year. With NRD you will have day-to-day onsite project management by your designer. This level of on-site involvement eliminates potential surprises and allows the entire plan to move along smoothly. Above all, projects stay on schedule and on budget.
Upon completion of your project, your designer will schedule a time to do a “walk through” of your new landscape. This allows any new questions you may have to be answered, and to learn about particular materials you have in your new outdoor space. During the walk through we will provide you a detailed care guide put together specifically for you and your new landscape. This care guide comes complete with pictures, and all of the maintenance information you need to keep things looking the way they are intended. To help get you started, all projects receive follow up site visits throughout the year by the designer to make sure everything is the way you expected it.
